"My name is Jeanne. In my family we used to be seven: three brothers and three sisters. Unfortunately one of us and my mother passed during the Genocide of 1994 in Rwanda and my father have disability ..... caused by the Genocide. After all of this having only one parent living with disability we were taken to the orphanage (Orpherinat Noel de nyundo) for 15 years thanks to the support provided by the orphanage I did my studies until senior six (high school) in option of accountancy then I left the orphanage in 2008 to live with my family until today.

One of the challenges I met in life was to lose my mother and stay with a father living with disability, but now my dream is to work hard and have the ability to support my family and other orphans living with disabilities. I wish I will be a future professional in accounting, as I started studying Economics and in the business studies department of accounting at Kigali Independent University.

I thank Safi Life Foundation who thought to help orphan children who do not have means to proceed their studies, including me, who are very lucky to have a new family."
